SISU establishes International Comparative Research Center of Educational Informationization



Shanghai International Studies University established its new International Comparative Research Center of Educational Informationization with a ceremony on April 15, 2015, followed by a meeting on education information strategy.


The center will focus on meeting the need to develop national educational informationization and accept the challenge along with it. Established by SISU with Education Management Information Center of ministry of Education, the center is to depend on SISU's mutilingual talent pool and the research strength on regional countries, putting emphasis on the dynamic tracing and strategic deployment on the construction of educational informationization of developed countries, based on which new trend and mechanism ,technique related will be traced and provided as reference to China.


About 50 experts and others from SISU attended the establishment ceremony, which included a discussion of the strategic meaning, future vision and plan, and work schedule for the center.


Jiang Feng, the party committee secretary of SISU, pointed outduring his speech that informationization is the important requirement and guarantee to national core competencies,and educational informationization is a critical component part of the overall strategy of the national information progress.SISU is to use its multilungual advantage to cooperate with the education management information center on the international dynamic tracing and comparative research, he said.


Zhan Tao, manager of Education Management Information Center of the ministry of Education, thanked SISU for its strategic emphasis on the construction of the center.He also gave a brief introduction to the working concentration and resource superiority of the center, and the development afterward.
